We’re still in Beta!

…but this is something good! It means that we’re actively looking for problems to fix and it also suggests that the game could change without further notice – *snap* – just like that.

“Beta” is the last phase of a game’s development process before it is published for everyone to play – before it goes “live”. We’re working very hard to verify that all the features of the game are functioning as intended. With your help we will soon be out of beta and finally be ready for launch!

Testers wanted

You can help by downloading and playing the game and reporting anything that is annoying or buggy. You will be able to find more information about how to report a bug within the game, but if for some reason you are not able to launch the game, be sure to let us know at bugs (q) xenocell.com.

Game bugs are of many flavors. From broken functionality to missing features to annoying and incomprehensible user interfaces. We’d like to hear about anything you’d file as misbehavior. We’d also like to know what you think of the features you were able to test – in general.

We have a page [Main menu: The Game / Server status] that shows the current state of our servers – whether they are up and running or down for maintenance. Be sure to check on those in case you’re not able to log in to your game account. This is pretty common during the Beta, as we actively work on the entire infrastructure around the game.

Press note

While we we’d love to show you all the features of the game at any given time during the Beta, it is simply not possible. What we do is we let our players test the features that are not under development at the time, and later switch those features with the ones that we think are ready for another round of testing.

For this reason, we ask the members of the press to withhold any reviews until the game is out of beta. We’re however open to answer questions and give interviews about the game – please write to press (q) xenocell.com.

Thank you very much for your continued support!
